I love cocktails and party time all year round and I especially love cocktail and party time during the holidays! I am planning a little pre-Christmas get-together now that Thanksgiving is over and I was really kind of stuck trying to decide what drinks to serve. I had red and white wine for the wine-loving guests and some basic mixers for high ball drinks, but I wanted something unique that I could also use as a centerpiece for the bar area and my best friend sent me this wonderfully inventive fruit cocktail recipe called the hilarious name of Devil’s jungle Juice Party Punch by her favorite Youtuber, The Tipsy Bartender. I immediately fell in love with this awesome cocktail idea and knew I had to make it. I first went to the local HEB Grocery Store and got the biggest, most succulent blood oranges, apples, grapefruit, and cranberries I could find. Then I brought them home, plopped it on the counter and started cutting them all up to float them in my big vat of Devil’s Jungle Juice. I poured all my fruit into a big plastic vat.
Then I added 4 bottles of Merlot, 4 bottles of Red Moscato, 2 fifths od Vodka, 2 bottles of Ocean Spray Cranberry Grape cocktail, and the magic ingredient Fireball. Just use about one-fourth cup of Fireball so your punch doesn’t become too hot. I added a few cinnamon sticks at the end for additional flavor.
This is a very large recipe and will serve a lot of guests, you can also downsize it to one bottle each, adjusting your liquors accordingly. I served it to my husband’s wild football friends and it was a big hit, everyone loved it.
