I love cooking anything in the crockpot, why I had never thought of making my favorite dish, Lasagna, in the crockpot is beyond me. I saw a recipe for crockpot Lasagna on Youtube and had to try it, after all, I love all potato recipes and I also love my crockpot so it was an obvious match made in Heaven for me. The recipe couldn’t be easier, I pre cooking my ground beef in the skillet.
Then I added my tomato sauce.
Then I mixed up my Ricotta cheese mixture.
Then I pulled out my trusty crockpot and started layering this delicious lovely meat mixture, alternating with dry flat lasagna noodles, and the creamy Ricotta Cheese mixture.
Don’t forget your extra Mozzarella Cheese and black olive layers!
Now all you have to do is set the crockpot on High and cook for about 8 hours. I recently made this for my picky Mother-In-Law and she absolutely loved it! She was not very familiar with using a crockpot so she asked me to bring her into the kitchen and show her exactly how I did it, she was even taking photos and posting my little tutorial, I did for her, to Facebook! I was amazed and so happy she loved this Crockpot Lasagna so much! I really recommend everyone try this recipe very soon, it’s a winner!
